Red Dust Remembers Clinton Grybas (08-Jan-08)

Clinton with some of the Red Dust team. We at Red Dust Role Models are stunned and saddened at the loss of member Clinton Grybas, who died January 5th, 2008.

As the tributes and stories flow from around the world, we remember our own special ties with Clinton, a staunch supporter of Red Dust since our early days several years ago. Upon Red Dust’s inception in 2006, Clinton was one of the first to put his hand up for membership and was always keen to help in any way he could, despite his always-busy schedule.

A role mode in every sense, Clinton truly embodied the term, which is used all-too loosely in the sporting world these days. As all the tributes attest, he consistently gave 100% and more to everything he did, both personally and professionally – and always with that wonderfully genuine, bright smile.

Clinton at Uluru He unselfishly gave his time and energy to support what he believed in, and Red Dust is truly grateful for his belief in us. We feel incredibly fortunate to have called him a member, a role model and, most importantly, a friend – one who will be so very sadly missed, and always fondly remembered.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Clinton’s family and his partner, Laurenna.
