Glenn Williams
Glenn started his 15-year professional baseball career when he signed his first Minor League contract at the tender age of 16. He made his Major League debut in 2005 and set a MLB record by hitting safely in every game he appeared in (13). Glenn has represented Australia on ten occasions, is a two-time Olympian and a Silver medallist from Athens in 2004. He retired in March of 2008 and is now involved in the development of young baseball players at both the State and National levels. He was appointed as a coach for the Under-16 Australian National team that will travel to Taiwan for the World Cup in Oct 2009. |
