Red Dust Role Models' Lifestyle Education Program uses the unique combination of sport and music as its primary mediums for conveying healthy lifestyle messages. Complementary activities utilising art, drama and dance offer alternatives for cultivating relationships, building trust and opening the lines of communication to break down cultural and socioeconomic barriers, reinforcing Red Dust's key health messages and facilitating mentorship.

The Lifestyle Education Program is a four- or five-day residential program using a combination of education-based classroom sessions, sport activities, coaching clinics, music workshops and art/drama sessions to actively engage youth. Positive lifestyle messages are reinforced throughout the program, while games and activities are designed to allow the participants to have
fun while learning.
Community programs are designed to culminate with a community celebration involving the participants showcasing their achievements through a music performance or other activity. Special awards and acknowledgements are made and community relationships are strengthened through sharing food, fun and immense pride in the achievements of their youth.
