Congratulations to Carol Cooke, one of our our Red Dust Role Models, has made the Australian Paralympic team for the London games in September this year.
Carol will be competing in Cycling events and this is the culmination of year’s of hard work and determination across all facets in her life. She has already lived such an inspiring life having competed at the elite level in swimming and rowing before acheiving her dream of making the Paralympics. Carol has worked tirelessly to support Multiple Sclerosis Australia since her diagnosis of the disease as well as supporting other charitable organisations such as Red Dust. We are very proud of all Carol has achieved. Red Dust will be watching in anticipation as Carol races in London! Well Done!!
Here is what Carol had to say about the announcement on her blog:
This is a trip Carol attended the Tiwi Islands community of Nguiu… she is on the far right!
