Macquarie is easily recognised as an industry leader when it comes to creative community partnerships. As well as financial sponsorship, MGF has access to high profile Australian sportsmen and women who assist with their Community Camps program. These athletes, who join the Red Dust Role Models team, bring encouragement, hope and 'fun' to kids living in remote and isolated communities. MGF also draws on its considerable experience in conducting coaching clinics and skills camps to generously participate in remote locations through Red Dust.

Macquarie Group Foundation are committed to seeing results from their participation and assists Territory and Commonwealth educators to review components of the education syllabus to enable more relevant and effective classroom presentations by Red Dust athletes.

More recently, MGF has committed to assisting remote communities raise funds for swimming pools. These pools will be tied to health and education outcomes which are set in consultation with traditional owners and community leaders.
