Survey shows Australians need to know more about Indigenous culture 26-May-09

On the eve of Reconciliation Week, recent survey results show that there is a long way to go for Australians to understand more about their own country's indigenous culture.

Research commissioned by Tourism NT reveals that 80 per cent of adults know little or nothing about indigenous culture.

The survey also indicated that almost all parents want their children to learn about it.
