Thea Slatyer is an Australian female football (soccer) player and member of the Australia women's national football (soccer) team. She is a no-nonsense defender similar in the mould of Manchester United's Nemanja Vidić. Slater is a tough tackler and very strong in the air. She works as a bodyguard and is a black belt in martial arts.

Thea’s talents extend beyond football and being a minder. "I'm flying planes and going for my pilot's licence but that has had to go on hold because of the World Cup," she said. "I've DJ'd since I was 16 and still do it a little bit at private parties, but it has only ever been for kicks and fun. I DJ at parties for the girls from the team a lot. I also do sound engineering and mix for bands."
