20 Years Strong. Two decades of partnership have strengthened identity, aspiration and health literacy.

Meet the people, hear the stories and step into our world as we celebrate 20 years of Red Dust.

For 20 years, communities have led the way. Red Dust has walked alongside remote communities, backing local leadership, centring culture, and building health literacy through relationships that last. This is the heart of 20 Years Strong — a celebration of identity, aspiration and connection to Country.

“For 20 years, we’ve walked our way — strong in culture, strong together.”

Across these two decades, Elders have guided, families have gathered, and young people have stepped forward with confidence. The program names, photos and places change, but the approach does not: community voice first. Each story we share this month is one thread in a larger tapestry woven by leaders on Country — teachers, facilitators, parents, and young people themselves.

We begin this journey with gratitude and pride. Over the next 20 days, you’ll hear voices from across communities reflecting on culture, learning, and leadership. You’ll see small moments that sparked big confidence, and big moments that grew from steady, local action.

This is a celebration of what’s already strong — and what’s still to come. Walk with us.
