Two decades of learning, listening and growing together — from dusty beginnings to strong, community‑led programs shaped by culture and continuity.

One story, two moments in time. Between them sits 20 years of learning, listening and refining.
Back then, a Working Dog (aka Santo) on-Country, in the dust, shares why we started.
Today, the same Working Dog, reflects on a slightly older and more experienced Red Dust – with a sustained passion, pride and vision.
Programs have evolved: more local facilitators, stronger bilingual resources, new health modules, deeper youth leadership pathways. Relationships have deepened: Elders guiding program design, families co-hosting sessions, partners co-creating schedules that fit community rhythm. What hasn’t changed is the core: community voice first, culture at the centre.
This continuity matters. It builds trust. It encourages young people to keep showing up and to return as mentors. It helps partners plan long term. And it reminds us that strong impact grows from strong relationships, season after season.
From then to now — and into what’s next — the story continues.
Your support strengthens the next chapter — backing community leadership, cultural learning and the strong foundations built over 20 years.
